Budapest Wine Festival
Features a fascinating Wine Harvest Procession, also many concerts and performances. Wine lovers can Enjoy the great wines on offer here. Wine Festival is usually conducted in September.

The traditional castle route of the Harvest Procession is: Szentháromság tér – Tóth Árpád sétány – Dísz tér – Koldus kapu – festival main stage.

Buda Castle Beer Festival
Also popular as Budavari Sorfesztival, it is a festival for beer and craft beer lovers. This festival is also popular for its concerts & Shows, local food, and obviously Beer. Usuallyit is conducted in the summer months (late August, mid June).

How to Reach

Gentle Hill Walk: 10-15 minutes walk from Szell Kalman Square, passing by the Vienna Gate (Becsi Kapu), the National Archives, Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion and the Presidential Palace.

Steep Hill Walk: Starts from the Chain Bridge, at Clark Adam Square, via the stairs leading up next to the Funicular.

Elevators located at Murat Pasha Bastion, School Stairs (Iskola Lepcso) and Granit Stairs (Granit Lepcso)

Bus: Bus no. 16 from Deak Ferenc Square and Bus no. 16 or 116 from Szell Kalman Square

Funicular / Cable Car: Starts from next to the Tunnel at Clark Adam Square. Usual waiting time of Funicular is 30 mins.
