Cala Millor is a purpose-built holiday resort in the Balearic Island of Mallorca. It is the largest holiday resort in Mallorca. The coastal district of Cala Millor is shared between the municipalities of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Son Servera. In summer, it is usually buzzing with tourists and night parties. Tourists can relax by the beach, soak in sunrays, eat at the nearby restaurants and enjoy plethora of water as well as beach activities.

Beaches: There are prominently two beaches along the coastline of Cala Millor, Cala Millor Beach which meets Cala Bona, stretches till 2KM. With golden sand and shallow waters, array of hotels, restaurants and bars makes Cala Millor Beach a perfect tourist spot. There are lot of Watersports to offer too including sailing, windsurfing, paddle surfing, diving and boat trips that set sail from Cala Millor. The rocky outcrop of Punta d’Amer lies just south of the beach and has an old watch tower called Castel d’Amer.
East Coast of Mallorca: This part of the beach is land of hidden caves and coves. The best known caves are the ‘Coves del Drac’ and ‘Coves des Hams’ which are nearby Porto Cristo.
Bronze Age settlements including ‘Ses Paisses’ on the outskirts of Arta.
Markets: Weekly market in Cala Millor is a seasonal market that opens on Mondays from 9:30am to 01.00pm from March to October. It´s located on Eucaliptus street and around.
Safari Zoo Mallorca: There is a safari zoo nearby connected to Cala Millor by a free transfer service. Safari Tour via train or your own car will offer glimpse of exotic animals like giraffes, rhinoceroses, zebras, gazelles, gnus and monkeys.

Outdoor Activities: There are many companies offering canyoning, climbing, coasteering, or rappel.
Cycling: Cycling along the countryside of Cala Millor is most popular in Winters. Bike rental shops are there within the resort.
Golf: The nearest golf course is a short drive away at Canyamel. It is a 18-hole, par-73 course and popular for its natural beauty.
Events in Cala Millor
Many festivals are organised around work in the fields and the cycles of nature.
In the last week of September Festival of the Tourist is held which includes concerts in Sa Màniga Auditorium, Turistapa, a festival with various shows and a tapas fair and tasting. There is also a season of music in the streets, activities on the beach, a street parade, exhibitions, concerts, themed markets and a grand firework display.
When to Visit
November to April: Temperatures are mild, the average daytime temperature is around 15ºC. This is a good time to visit the island and enjoy long walks along the coast or in the countryside, although these are also the wettest months.
May and June: Average temperatures of 21-25ºC, ideal for enjoying the beach.
July and August: These are the hottest months with average temperatures of 30ºC. Perfect for enjoying our café terraces and open air activities.
September and October: Occasional windy or rainy day. The sea maintains a very pleasant temperature that is perfect for enjoying all kinds of water sports.
