Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point lies in the southern end of Cape Peninsula. The Cape of Good Hope is at the tip of the Peninsula and Cape Point is 1km east of the Cape of Good Hope.
The Cape of Good Hope section of the park is generally wild, unspoiled and undeveloped whereas the vegetation at Cape Point consists primarily of Peninsula Sandstone Fynbos.
Few of the activities worth exploring are:
- Cape of Good Hope Two day hiking trail: Staets at the Main Gate. 3 overnight huts are there near the Visitor Centre.
- Bird Watching
- Specialised Guidings - Lighthouses: It was a landmark of great navigational value until the introduction of the radar.
- Historical Naval Tours - Shipwrecks: There are 23 shipwrecks along the coastline, out of which 5 can be seen.
