Dainkund is the highest peak in Dalhousie region and is famous for offering panoramic view of Dalhousie to its visitors. The peak of the mountain has the devi Pohilynai Temple which can be reached after a hike of 1.5 kilometers from the parking area.

The hike is not so difficult, and beginners must do it. The path to the peak has concrete steps to be climbed. The weather at the top is cloudy and windy. These winds make serene sound while passing through the trees.
