In Gili T, you not only can party but also enjoy the picturisque nature on a hike to Gili T 'Treasure Hill'. This path presents nature along with few WWII remains and thus an interesting activity to pursue.
The Gili Trawangan hill was once a WWII era naval base, POW detention site and lookout post. Midway there is a remnant of a Japanese machinegun bunker.
The sunset from the peak of the hill is worth your time and effort. The hike from the hill base up takes only 15 minutes. The Gili Trawangan Hill is within only a 10-minute bike ride from Ombak Villa.
