Kuensel Phodrang, also known as Buddha Point is a massive structure of Shakyamuni Buddha and is one of the largest idols of Buddha in the world. This grand and glorious Buddha can be seen from any corner of Thimphu.

The 51.5 meter bronze statue is three storied with several chapels. The body of Buddha is filled with 125000 smaller statues of Buddha. This statue radiates happiness and peace all around and its beauty in the night is splendid.
