Meguro River is a well known place to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo. Located near Shibuya, in Nakameguro area in central Tokyo, highlight of this place is 800 cherry trees lined for about 4 km along the river which displays the spectacular view.
Hanami at Meguro River A cherry blossom festival is held near the river during main season, with food and drinks stalls lined nearby, also there are rooftop terrace cafes and restaurants, from where one get the spectacular view of cherry blossom.
During night, the light up of the cherry blossom is specially beautiful. Lighting is available till 9 PM.
