The famous composer’s birthplace continues to be a magnet for Mozart fans and history buffs from around the world. Situated in Getreidegasse, this house draws special attention of visitors and fans.
It takes an hour to take a tour of the original rooms. One can also admire the authentic middle-class constructed apartment from 18th century. Visitors can discover items of everyday life as well as furniture from the 18th century.
This apartment houses a collection of portraits, mostly done during Mozart’s lifetime, also Mozart fans can have a close look at the historical instruments, including Mozart’s own violin and clavichord.
