National Textile Museum in Thimpu is part of the Royal Textile Academy and displays Bhutan's living national art of thagzo (weaving). Across the courtyard is the Royal Textile Academy conservation centre, where you can observe a small group of weavers working on their looms.

Floors are segragated for different types of weaving:
Ground Floor: focuses on royal items, including the wedding clothes worn by the fourth king and his four wives
