Piazza Navona is one of the beautiful and charming squares in Rome. It is well known for its three fountains designed during the rule of George XIII.
Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi: At the centre of the Square. The four statues represent the rivers of the continents where christianity had spread, the Nile, the Danube, the Ganges, the Rio de la Plata.
Fontana del Moro: located in the southern side of the Square. Also known as the "Seashell Fountain".
Fontana del Nettuno: also known as Fountain of Neptune.
This square has many restaurants and terraces gracing Piazzo Navona during the day. Performances by street artists like magicians and dancers is a common view here.
