Situated 8 Km away from Munnar town, Punarjani Traditional Village showcases two traditional Kerala art forms; 'Kathakali' the classical dance drama and 'Kalarippayattu', the mother of all martial art.
Daily performances timing for Kathakali is 5pm and for Kalarippayat is 6pm. Arrive at 4pm if you want to see the ritual Kathakali make-up session.
Tickets are available during the day of the performance but for the best seats consider bookings a day in advance.
