Runyon Canyon Park is located at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. This 160 acre park is located at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains and has two entry points: southern entrance at the north end of Fuller Avenue in Hollywood and northern entrance off the 7300 block of Mulholland Drive. Runyon Canyon Park offers one of the best hiking trails in Los Angeles.

The East Ridge Trail is popular among the hikers as it has two known lookouts: Clouds Rest and Inspiration Point. These two lookouts are popular selfie spots.
For hikers who want to hike both the ridges, they need to enter the park from the main trailhead at the top of North Fuller Avenue, pass a connector trail on the left up to the center of the park to reach the inspiration point and Clouds Rest. From there turn right up the Runyon Canyon Fire Road and turn left on Western High Way Trail. Then turn left down the ridge towards Solar Drive. From here hike back via Runyon Canyon Fire Road and connector trail east to the to the Fuller Avenue Entrance.
