Salzburg Museum, earlier recognized as Carolino Augusteum, was moved to the Neue Residenz in 2006. Its purpose is to display and preserve the culture of Salzburg.
After reforming into Salzburg Museum, it has modernized itself with multimedia exhibitions attracting all kinds of visitors..
