The Sea-to-Sky Gondola is located in the Highway 99, 45 minutes drive from downtown Vancouver.Gondola takes you up to a viewpoint offering multiple interesting activities apart from offering spectacular views of Howe Sound, the majestic coastal forest and surrounding mountains.
Activities: Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge: 100 metres long , offers 360 degree views of the area, both up to the high alpine of the mountains above and down to the fjord below.
Snowshoeing: Snowshoe trails entail crisp mountain air, a snow laden forest, and breathtaking views.
Tubing in Winters: Next to Wonderland Lake Loop, about a 5-minute walk from the Summit Lodge, the tube park offers sliding fun for all ages. Cost: $5 ( tube rental + unlimited access) Last rental: 3:00PM Tube park closes: 3:30PM
Walking Trails: In the summer season (May - Nov), tours run daily. In the winter season (December - April), tours are by request.
Front Country Trails: start right from the top of the Gondola, no steep climbs
The Panorama Trail: takes you through coastal forest, Alaskan Blueberry bushes and granite outcroppings. Grade (steepness) of 8-10%.
The Spirit Trail: 400 metre long loop and begins at the Skypilot Suspension Bridge. and ends at Spirit viewing deck .
The Wonderland Lake Loop: starts just down the backcountry access road.the trail meanders along granite bluffs, open meadows and vibrant coastal forest.
