The Hofburg was the original centre of the Habsburg court, where the Imperial family lived, worked and ruled.

The Imperial Apartments:The 24 rooms in the apartments occupied by Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elisabeth, comprising studies, residential suites and reception rooms, are all furnished and decorated to the highest standards.
There are shops located at the beginning and end of the tour which stock a wide range of souvenirs. One can also enjoy classical Viennese coffeehouse culture right in the heart of the Imperial Palace, opens daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
