Berlin Wall Memorial, located in Bernauer Straße, is a memorial site which commemorates the division of Berlin and stands as a symbol of unification. These ancient ruins are interesting to watch as they are restored and some portion of the wall is covered with funky graffitis.

Berlin Wall Memorial or Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer recalls the division of Berlin by the Berlin Wall and the deaths that occurred there. Located on Bernauer Strabe at the corner of Ackerstrabe, Berlin Wall Memorial extends till 1.4 kilometers and contains the last piece of Berlin Wall with the preserved grounds behind it.
There is a large open air exhibition which includes historical audios and pictures, a visitors’ centre and an observation tower
